Covid-19 öncesinde “Teknolojik ve Dijital Dönüşüm” ve Covid-19 sürecinde “Pandemi Sonrası Yeni Dünya Düzeninde Teknoloji Yönetimi ve İnsani Dijitalizasyon” adlı eserleri ortaya çıkartan iş dünyasından ve akademiden bölüm yazarlarının da bulunduğu genişletilmiş bir kadro ile “Sektörlerin ve Mesleklerin Geleceği”, gerek Türkiye’de gerekse de dünyada gelişmelerin ele alındığı bir eser ortaya konulmuştur. Bu eserde bölüm yazarları, teknolojik gelişmelerin tesiri ile politik, ekonomik, sosyal, yasal dönüşümler ve sürdürülebilir bir dünya düzeni nasıl gerçekleseceği üzerinde ağırlıklı olarak literatür taramaları gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Hem sektörlerde hem de mesleklerde dünyayı nasıl bir gelecek beklediği hususunu ele almışlardır. Tıpkı Afrika ormanlarında aslan ile ceylanlar meclisinin metaforunda olduğu gibi, en yavaş koşan ceylan gün içinde av olmuş yarın daha hızlı olması gereken ceylanlar ile yarın daha hızlı koşacaklarını bilen aslanın da ertesi gün hızını arttırması gerektiği ve buradan hareketle ister aslan ister ceylan olunsun, “hızlanılması” gerektiği misali gibi çalışmaların bütününe bakıldığında “hız” en önemli itici güç olarak görülmüştür. Birim zamanda daha çok iş üretmenin getirdiği başta sosyal ve çevresel etkiler madalyonun iki yüzü mahiyetinde, bilimsel olarak derinlemesine analiz edilmiştir.
